Sunset - Red Rock Escarpment

I had my eye on this interesting Red Rock escarpment skyline for a sunset painting. It wasn't until the setting sun coincided with blown particulates from fires in California, that the sky lit up in beautiful red and purple hues.

This artwork was produced under the Red Rock Canyon Artist-in-Residence Program.
